Located in Courtenay, British Columbia, Andrew Sims's Piano Studio offers thoughtful, engaging piano lessons for children, teens, and adults. Online lessons continue to be available for returning students in Edmonton, Alberta.
Andrew's goal is to help students become thoughtful, confident, and independent musicians through a balanced approach that develops strong technique, creativity, musicianship, and a lifelong love of music. Lessons combine traditional piano study with singing, movement, improvisation, and creative music-making, helping students develop a better understanding of music while enjoying the learning process.
In addition to individualized lessons, students participate in studio-wide musical activities and projects throughout the year, helping to build a supportive community of musicians through recitals, creative projects, and shared musical traditions.
